I am a third year postdoctoral fellow at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute at The Ohio State University. My research interests are in mathematical neuroscience and biological rhythms. My dissertation was on modeling the electrophysiology of the mammalian circadian clock and statistical inference of functional connectivity from multi-neuronal spike trains. At MBI, I am using dynamical systems analysis tools to study the neuronal bursting underlying breathing, the role of mitochondrial excitability in stroke, and generalized rivalry networks.
