Educational Activities

Below are major activities in recent years that contribute to the education and training of students and researchers, in the general field of cellular systems biology, and in more specific topics such as pathway analysis, cancer networks and cancer immunology.

2008

A graduate textbook on Models of Cellular Regulation has just been written by B.D. Aguda &

Avner Friedman.  It will be published by Oxford Univ Press in Aug 2008.  See Ad.

Tutorials on Pathway Analysis using the Ingenuity Pathway Analysis Training Videos.

Workshop on Perspectives in Cancer Immunology (Univ of Utah).  Lecture ppt slides  (The Cancer

Immunoediting Hypothesis: From Biological Hypotheses to Network Models).

2006-2007

Models of Cell-Fate Regulation is a series of journal club talks on recent papers on biological

models; mostly given by myself at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute

From Pathways to Network Models.  Tutorial lectures given at ISMB2006, Brazil.  notes and slides

Modeling Cancer Networks (March 2007). slides

on or before 2005

A graduate course on Mechanisms and Models of Cellular Regulation was created by B.D. Aguda,

and taught at the Dept of Biomedical Engineering, Boston University.

Control Modules for Cellular Division, Apoptosis & Differentiation. SIAM2004.  slides
